Danish painter Benni Korzen grew up in Copenhagen. In 1964 he moved to New York and now lives in Los Angeles with his wife Annie Korzen, where he continues to paint as well as produce films (Oscar-winner BABETTE’S FEAST.)

He’s inspired by painters like Basquiat, Diebenkorn

and the mid-century Cobra group.

Museums where Benni’s paintings do not hang include

The Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim and The Louvre.
